What: The Lewis and Clark District Scout Show!
When: September 9-10, 2016. Show begins 9am on 9/10
Where: ExpoPark (the Fairgrounds)
Who: All of the Packs, Troops and Crews in the Lewis and Clark District!
Troops and Packs are all invited to camp overnight at the Expo Park for our annual Scout show. For those needing an extra night of camping for rank advancement, camping merit badge, etc. this is a great opportunity to do so. No open fires will be allowed, but we will have a lot of fun anyways.
Scout Show Event chair Tami Lukas would like all of the units to do something individual to their unit so that the public can get an idea of what is offered. The Order of the Arrow will be doing concessions.
On Friday night Troops and Packs will be helping to build a monkey bridge.
For any questions please contact Tami Lukas, event chair at 406-564-5344.
Swimming, Scout and Summer. The three just go together, kind of like peanut butter and jelly, rice and beans or peas and carrots. So, let’s go swimming!
Troop 26 has reserved the Water Tower neighborhood pool for the evening of Monday, June 27 from 6-8pm. As more kids = more fun, we would like to invite other Troops and Packs in town to join us (and, of course, help pay for our pool rental).
Please call Scoutmaster Aaron Weissman, 868-8982, for more information.

The Order of the Arrow is holding a BBQ at the Medicine River Scout Center this Tuesday (10/16) at 6:30pm. Any Scout or Scouter who has been inducted into the Order of the Arrow is encouraged to attend. There are lots of OA members in the Lewis and Clark District that haven’t been active in the OA – this a great opportunity for them (or you) to come out, join us, and enjoy some food!
On Saturday, October 27 there will be a Cub Fun Day in Ft. Benton at the fairgrounds. It is $5 and open to all Cub Scouts. The boys will be cooking in dutch ovens, creating and launching paper rockets, shooting BB guns and more! It is just a half day event (it is done right after lunch).
This is the first event of this kind in our area – it is a joint event for Lewis & Clark District, Hi-Line District, and Nu-Ooh-Ska District. There will be Cub Scouts from all over the north-central part of Montana!
