Scout Show & Bring-a-Buddy swimming event cancelled

For those of you in attendance at July’s Roundtable it was announced that efforts were being made to put a Scout Show together for the end of August.  Despite the work being put into the show this year, issues with the location caused the cancellation of the event with too little time to try to change to a new location or date.  We look forward to a big event next year!

Cub Scout Recruitment

Cub Scout recruitment nights are quickly approaching!  In order to help maximize your time and efforts please see resources provided under Recruitment Tools on our Cub Scout Resources page.  Please complete highlighted information for your unit and school(s) on the 2017 Fall Recruitment Schedule.

Also, don’t forget to recruit your New Member Coordinator to welcome and coordinate your new Cub Scouts!

If you did not attend the August 8th planning session, please contact: Dustin Shoemake at 406-404-6071 or dustin.shoemake@scouting.org to receive your recruitment playbook.

Cub Scout Program Planning

Making Scouting Accessible For Families

As we think about the future, we are interested in gaining your perspective…

Hello,

As one of America’s leading youth-serving organizations, we aim to bring the benefits of Scouting to the greatest number of youth possible — all while remaining true to our mission and core values, outlined in the Scout Oath and Law.

As we think about the future, we are interested in gaining your perspective as a member of the Scouting community. Please join us for a discussion on August 8th at 7:30pm (following Roundtable) at 1015 15th Ave S. in Great Falls, as we continue the important conversation about how to make Scouting more accessible to today’s families.

We look forward to speaking with you on August 8th. Please email dustin.shoemake@scouting.org directly if you have any questions.

Thank you for everything you do to make Scouting a pivotal part of our community.

Yours in Scouting
