SALVATION ARMY COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITY
November 17th
The Salvation Army needs volunteers to help pack 600 food boxes that will be used to assist needy families this holiday season.
This is a fun and worth while way to get some community service hours!

Outdoor Leader/Baloo Training, October 23-24

All Scouts Deserve a Trained Leader, and you have an opportunity to become trained in Basic Adult Leader Outdoor (BALOO) training and Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS) on the weekend of October 23-24.  All events will be held at the Scout office, 820 17th Avenue South.

Friday   23 October

6pm                Show time at the Scout Office

Set up your camp

9 pm               Cracker Barrel

10:30pm        Lights out

Saturday   24 October

7am                 Rise and Shine

7-8am              Breakfast

8:30                 Class Begins

12pm ish         Lunch

2-3pm              Class concludes, Clean up and go Home

All Participants will be camping out overnight on Friday in a TENT. You will be responsible for your dinner Friday night and breakfast on Saturday. Please register at the scout office ASAP.  There is a $5.00 fee for the class pay at the event.

Jamboree On the Air Events Behind the Scout Office on October 17-18!

Jamboree on the Air (JOTA) is this weekend!  Join Scouts from all around the world as they get on the radio together this weekend.  We might even be able to speak with astronauts on the International Space Station!  The Lewis and Clark District will put on its JOTA events this weekend behind the Scout Office, 820 17th Avenue South.  See you there!

11PM                        All Stations Closed Lights Out

09:00-12-00             Electronics Merit Badge (ONLY DAY)

12:00-12:30              Lunch   (BRING YOUR OWN)

12:30-2:00pm           All Stations Open

2:00pm                       All Stations Closed / Cleanup

Please Have All Scouts Picked Up By 2:00pm.

Roundtable Tuesday!!

Hello Scouters!

Don’t forget Roundtable this Tuesday, at 6:30pm, and the usual location, the LDS stake center at 1015, 15th Ave South. See you all there! 

A word: Cubby, the traveling award for Cub Roundtable is Missing In Action. Will the pack who brought it home please bring it back? And remember, the Pack who gets it needs to bring a game.  

Re-Charter Support Night

Just a reminder that the Re-Charter support night is this Thursday October 8th @ 6:30pm at the Scout Office (downstairs), 820 17th Ave S, Great Falls, Mt.

Receive one-on-one support for entering your Unit Recharter.
To help you get as close as possible to completion, please bring:
-A laptop
-A unit roster
-Any new youth or adult applications

Don’t miss this opportunity to get your charter done by the due date (October 28th) !
