District Roundtable

Hello Scouters!

My name is Stephen Boyd, and I am from Troop 26 and a den leader with Pack 26. I am also the new Roundtable Commissioner for the Lewis & Clark District. I am excited to be a part of our district’s Roundtable team, and am looking forward to our growing program!

Tuesday night, our Cub Scout roundtable focused on the youth religious award program. We had a great presentation given by Bill Rutten, from Troop 28, and a lot of good feedback from other leaders who were in attendance. Afterwards, we were able to discuss any questions and issues our leaders have experienced in their packs.

Our Boy Scout Roundtable discussed Outdoor Programs. Our Boy Scout Roundtable Commissioner, Ed Stuart, did a great job of discussing how units can have a great outdoor program with suggestions on making a good program even better. Leaders in attendance also discussed the methods our district uses to communicate information on events and programs.

A big “congratulations” goes out to our door prize winners!

· Julienne Gramm- Training Chairman for Troop 51, won a mini Coleman lantern flashlight (donated by Brian Jensen from Pack 26).

· Kathy Colwell- Unit Commissioner for Packs 151, 152, & 155, won a 2014 Montana Council wall calendar.

· Gregg Benson- Cubmaster for Pack 157, won a $15 Wal Mart gift card.

Thanks again to everyone who attended, and we hope to see the rest of you next month on May, 13th!

Sincerely,

Stephen Boyd
Lewis & Clark District Roundtable Commissioner
