Sign Up for Wood Badge 2012 Today!

The Best Gift You Can Give a Scout is a Well-Trained Leader

Wood Badge is Scouting’s premier training for adult volunteers.  After completing Wood Badge training, you will be better prepared to lead Packs, Troops, Crews and Teams in and around the District.

Our Wood Badge training is largely the same as that originally defined by Lord Baden-Powell when he began the Scouting movement over a century ago.  The lessons you will learn at Wood Badge have been time tested and produce results both in and out of Scouting.  Many major corporations have based their leadership training on the Wood Badge course.

The Montana Council will be holding a Spring Wood Badge course (W5-315-12-1) on May 17-19 and June 7-9 at Grizzly Base Camp.  A Fall course is not planned this year due to the upcoming Powderhorn training.  The cost of the course is $275.  Registration forms are available for download, with a registration deadline of February 1, 2012.
