October Adult Leader Training Courses

Please ensure that adult leaders in your units that are attending our upcoming trainings are filling out the registration forms. Please pass the word along, we have added lots of new leaders, and so we should have some very full classes!

Recruitment means new boys AND new leaders. To address the need to have our leaders be trained, confident, and knowledgeable – our fall training is coming up fast!

Please pass the word around to all of the leaders in your unit. We would love to pack the house, and ensure we have a great program for our kids this year. I have attached the PDFs to this email with the specifics about the trainings on Saturday Oct 8th and the outdoor training on Oct 14th + 15th.

Please get your registration turned in, and registration for all others in your unit so that we can properly prepare for the courses.
Thanks.

First Two Popcorn Mystery House Clues Revealed

The first two mystery houses are in place. We have a number of very nice prizes again this year. Each prize has a value of $25-$30. A few of the prizes include a nice backpack; a complete fishing set with pole, tackle box, and tackle; and a walking stick.

The first clue: House #1 is on the south side of town between Central Avenue & 30th Avenue South and 1st Street & 32nd Street South.

The second clue: House #2 is on the north side of town between Central Avenue & River Drive North and 26th Street & 57th Street North.

The Mystery Houses will let me know when their prizes have been found, and I will email everyone to let them know. I will post clues each week on Tuesday and Friday. The Tuesday clue will be a clue to narrow in on unfound houses. The Friday clue will be the new clue.

Good luck to everyone.
